Some people find their purpose. I stumbled into mine at 3am, cutting footage to a story nobody asked me to make.

Before the first camera, there was just a kid who felt like he didn't belong anywhere.

I started making cinematic music videos on YouTube cutting gaming footage to emotional scores, building little movies nobody asked for. Then something unexpected happened. People found them. They started writing things like "this is underrated, amazing edits and music choice." That was the first time I understood what cinema actually is: the ability to reach into a stranger's chest and make them feel something they can't explain.

That feeling has a name. Kama Muta. Moved by love.

Everything I've made since then has been chasing that.

I'm Wesley Benoît-Pelletier, a film director based in Montreal. I'm drawn to stories with philosophical weight and emotional depth, the kind that take you somewhere and leave you changed. I like to call my work "Controlled Chaos" and the best part is that chaos is part of the story. I am the man you want to be around when the unexpected happens. My style is extremely flexible. The process starts with a blank page and ends with a precise vision: shot lists, references, production frameworks built to hold under pressure. On set, I'm calm. Confident. My job is to make sure my crew has everything they need so the story can breathe.

What I make is films. And film at its best, is love made visible.
